Formation of an agile team follows this general process :

• Customers provide a set of storylines
• From the backlog of priorities, a sprint is identified and authorized by the customer
• The features and requirements are developed with the customer
• Team members are selected for the sprint based on these requirements
• If a team was previously assigned to that customer, new sprints are usually assigned to the same team.

Team Composition

Every agile IT team usually comprises : the product owner/manager, a scrum master, and a development team. The development team can include a quality assurance specialist and several IT developers suitable to the sprint. Other skillsets like business analyst, software architect, network security expert and others that match the requirements, can be provided as requneeded for the particular project.

Continuous Updates

The team creates a sprint backlog and work collaboratively to deliver continuous updates.

Customers generally provide a storyline from which the features and requirements are determined.

Team members are selected from the database based on these requirements that match the customer’s requirements.

Work commences after there is agreement with the customer to proceed.

Every team will comprise of the product owner, a scrum master and technical resources that match the requirements. Each member will have a designated backup in case of contingencies.
